CREB issued a new 2011 housing update: Following steep declines in 2010 sales, the Calgary residential resale market is on the path to recovery. I have returned and can now class myself as a marathoner!
The experience was incredible- we felt like we were Olympians! People were lined the street and cheering us on - Go Canada go! We were wearing Candadian flag tattoos and were carrying a Canadian Flag. We didn't realize how much this 2500th anniversary meant to the Greek people so participating in the event was an unbelievable experience. The weather was gorgeous and despite getting a bad cold I still managed to complete in 5 hours and 4 ...

Travel day has arrived! We leave for Athens tomorrow, a few of our group have already departed. I am so looking forward to meeting up with them again on Greek soil. The hard work has paid off and we are ready! The race is live on SKAI tv. Training is in the third quarter. The fun is over and the hard work beginning. Our hill training has prgressed to nine hills and our distance has reached 29 kilometres. The weather didn't co-operate last Sunday but as we say it builds character! Our goup is amazing, we are running new scenic routes around Calgary and enjoying coffee or treats after, a great incentive to finish! Here is a summary of the Calgary Real Estate Board statistics for December 2008. Sales of single family homes dropped by 47% from a year ago and 33% from November. Similarly Condominium sales in Calgary were 48% lower than a year ago and 27% lower than November. 2008 overall was a reasonable year for Real Estate n Calgary, a higher than normal number of listings saw the opportunities switching over to the buyer.
